Day 1: Arrival JAKARTA

Arrival at Jakarta International Airport, meet & greet by guide at airport then Transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 2: HIGHLIGHT JAKARTA (B)                      

Breakfast at hotel,Experience the fascinating history and culture of the Indonesian capital. With your guide, drive into the heart of the old city, in to the Fatahillah Square, the heart of the 18th-century Dutch colonial administration, admire well-preserved buildings and the legendary Portuguese cannon. Also, on the square, visit the Wayang Museum, dedicated to Indonesia’s beloved storytelling tradition of shadow puppetry. Inside, delight in thousands of two-dimensional creations. Next exploring the Merdeka Square (Independence Square) where the at the National Monument, a stunning 450-foot-tall marble obelisk topped with a flame covered in gold foil. We will be giving you time to picture taken for some minutes.  Then, we will have special time to explore National Museum or more known as Elephant Building after the elephant statue in its forecourt. Its broad collections cover all of Indonesia’s territory and almost all of its history. The museum has endeavored to preserve Indonesia’s heritage for two centuries. Next stop to view Istiqlal Mosque and Cathedral Church. Marvel at the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the neo-Gothic style of the early 20th-century church. Standing proudly side by side, their proximity celebrates religious tolerance and the diversity of Indonesian culture.

Day 3: JAKARTA – BANDUNG (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Bandung via toll. Arrive in Bandung. Afternoon visit Saung Udjo to see cultural show of Sundanese folklore and bamboo music ensemble. Check in at Hotel. Rest of the time at leisure.

Day 5: BANDUNG-YOGYAKARTA (B)

Early breakfast at hotel, transfer to train station to get ARGO WILIS train leaving for Yogyakarta (etd 08.15). Upon arrival (at 14.20). Transfer to Hotel in Borobudur Area. Free at leisure.

Day 6: YOGYAKARTA (B)

After breakfast start tour visit Borobudur Temple, the biggest and the most significant Buddhist historical site of the world. The temple was build approximately in the 9th century and was estimated to be built by 30.000 engravers and sculptors, 15.000 bearers and thousands of masons in 75 years. Continue visit Pawon Temple. Pawon literally means “kitchen” in Javanese language, which is derived from the root word awu or dust. The connection to the word “dust” also suggests that this temple was probably built as a tomb or mortuary temple for a king. Continue visit Prambanan Hindhust Temple complex, built in 856, this temple complex is known the Loro Jonggrang in the daily language of the folk. Continue visit Plaosan Temple. Plaosan Temple is situated in Bugisan Village, Prambanan Sub-district, Klaten District, 1.5 kilometers to the east of Sewu Temple. The temple is an ancient building compound comprising of two building complexes, Plaosan Lor Temple complex (lor is a Javanese word that means north) and Plaosan Kidul Temple complex (kidul is a Javanese word for south). The relief sculptures seen at the compound are fine and detailed, similar to sculptures found at Borobudur, Sewu and Sari Temples.

Day 7: YOGYAKARTA (B)

After breakfast, check out from Hotel in Borobudur Area. Proceed to Yogyakarta with start tour visit Borobudur Temple, the biggest and the most significant Buddhist historical site of the world. The temple was build approximately in the 9th century and was estimated to be built by 30.000 engravers and sculptors, 15.000 bearers and thousands of masons in 75 years. Continue visit Taman Sari Water castle is the site of a former royal garden of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta. It is located about 2 km south within the grounds of the Kraton, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Built in the mid-18th century, the Taman Sari had multiple functions, such as a resting area, a workshop, a meditation area, a defense area, and a hiding place. Then continue walking around Malioboro Street. Malioboro is packed with shops selling curiosities, and street vendors offering souvenirs at affordable prices, so you’re bound to find something of interest in this street. If you’re after some batik to take home as a souvenir, then Malioboro is the right place for you. Batik can also be made into bags, table cloths, bed sheets, pillow covers, curtains, and a whole lot more. Transfer to Hotel In Yogyakarta. Check in and free program.

Day 8: YOGYAKARTA – TRANSFER OUT (B)

Check out hotel after breakfast. Transfer to Yogyakarta International Aiport (YIA) to catch your flight.
End of Tour
