Itinerary
Day 1 :
Yogyakarta
Arrive at Adisucipto International airport, meet and greet by our Guide. Transfer to Gallery Prawirotaman hotel (4*) or similar. Free at your own program.
Day 2 :
Yogyakarta – Borobudur (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel. At 08.30 leaving hotel for Magelang regency to to visit the biggest and the most significant Buddhist historical site of the world. The temple was build approximately in the 9th century and was estimated to be built by 30.000 engravers and sculptors, 15.000 bearers and thousands of masons in 75 years.
Continue visit to Candirejo, a traditional Javanese village which is rich in its natural surroundings including paddy fields, portraying traditional Javanese culture and daily life through traditional houses, plantation resources, farming and local food. You will participate in daily social activities to feel their real traditional village atmosphere, their culture and lifestyle.
Late afternoon transfer back to Yogyakarta to visit Visiting Prambanan Hindhust Temple complex, built in 856, this temple complex is known the Loro Jonggrang in the daily language of the folk.
Back to hotel, rest of the day free at the leisure.
Day 3 :
Yogyakarta (B/-/-)
Breakfast at Hotel. Full day visit Kraton (Sultan Palace) the center of the javanesse culture and tradition thence visit Sonobudoyo Museum is is a Javanese history and culture museum and library in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The museum contains the most complete collection of Javanese artifacts, after the National Museum in Jakarta. In addition to ceramics of the Neolithic era and bronze sculptures from the 8th century, the museum also includes collections of wayang (shadow puppets), various ancient weapons (such as keris), and Javanese masks.
Continue visit Taman Sari Water castle is the site of a former royal garden of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta. It is located about 2 km south within the grounds of the Kraton, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Built in the mid-18th century, the Taman Sari had multiple functions, such as a resting area, a workshop, a meditation area, a defense area, and a hiding place.
Leaving for Kotagede is a historic neighborhood in Yogyakarta.Kotagede contains the remains of the first capital of Mataram Sultanate, established in the 16th century. Some of the remains of the old Kotagede are remains of the palace, the royal cemetery, the royal mosque, and defensive walls and moats. Kotagede known as silver handmade village. in here you will be instructed by a silversmith to make either a ring, earrings or pedant.
Day 4 :
Yogyakarta – Borobudur (B/-/-)
Leaving hotel at 05.30 for train station, we will provide your breakfast in box. You will continue the journey to East Java by train named SANCAKA, through the various scenery of rice fields, teak forest,villages and other small cities.Upon arrival in Mojokerto continue on by car to Bromo en route stopover at Mardakaripura waterfall, This spectacular waterfall lies hidden at the end of a deep valley in the foothills of the Tengger range. This waterfall has related historic with a great Prime Ministry, Gajah Mada, who strongly struggled to unify the whole territory of the nation under span of control of Majapahit. Late afternoon arrive in Bromo, overnight at Jiwa Jawa Bromo Resort or similar.
Day 5 :
Bromo – Margo Utomo (B/-/-)
Mount Bromo really is something else – and there is no better way to appreciate it than at the crack of dawn. It is not the mountain itself but the sheer majesty of the experience: the immense size of the entire Tengger caldera, the supernatural beauty of the scenery and the dramatic highland light. You will need to wake up at about midnight, and on 03.00 O’Clock we will drive you to Mount Bromo by off – road vehicle until The Pananjakan Hill to see sunrise (if wheather permitted, continue by walk to reach the top of the hill to see sunrise. Thence by walk through sand dune to approach the stairways lead to the rim of Bromo crater. Drive to KingKong hill by Jeep thence do soft hiking.(not to see sunrise). Return to hotel for breakfast and a shower before driving to Kalibaru. Afternoon arrive at Kalibaru, staying overnight at Margo Utomo Eco resort or similar.
Day 6 :
Margoutomo – Ijen (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel, Morning Plantations Tour start at 08.00 by walk to see rubber, coffee, cacao, nutmeg trees etc. After lunch leaving for Jiwa Jawa Ijen or similar. Free at your own program
We will depart from Jiwa Jawa Ijen or similar by jeep on 11.30 pm (1,5 hours by jeep to Paltuding-starting point for hiking) to see Blue fire (a beautiful panorama of blue flame of Ijen, Sulfur combusts on contact with air to create stunning blue lava-like rivers of light in the Kawah Ijen crater (Blue fire can be seen starting from 03.00-04.00 am).
Day 7 :
Ijen – Bali (B/-/-)
Return to the hotel for breakfast before heading to Ketapang port to catch the ferry to cross the Bali Strait to Gilimanuk with drop off at Hotel in Bali.
